What particularly formed this piece was my experience to the sea side town of Hastings, UK. I portrayed the view from the airbnb in which me my friends and my dog stayed in, contemplating this with the idea of spatial memories and reveries via G.Bachelard. the guitar is a symbol of play for me, beside painting, it is an activity that I like to partake in. The middle of the composition is a section of Hong Kong, it reminded me of loneliness as the interior and exterior of the space was segregated distinctly similar to that of a class segregation. The butterfly clock with sun and moon is a symbol of my constant fascination with time and memory.
这幅作品的灵感主要来源于我在英国黑斯廷斯海滨小镇的经历。我描绘了我和我的朋友们以及我的狗住在一家Airbnb中时的视角，通过加斯东·巴舍拉（G. Bachelard）关于空间记忆和遐想的理论来思考这一景象。吉他对我而言是娱乐的象征，除了绘画，它还是我喜欢参与的一种活动。作品的中心是香港的一个区域，它让我想起了孤独，因为空间的内部和外部被明显区分，这与阶级隔离有着惊人的相似。带有太阳和月亮的蝴蝶时钟是我对时间和记忆持续着迷的象征。
