Whilst creating this piece, I was intrigued by the notion of psychogeography, it got me thinking that locations and places actually are alive and are filled with emotions and feelings, of the events that has happened there, a flow of life energy persists, transferred to the location by the people who had visited and passed by. In this scene, is the juxtaposition of a tube station and the riverside beside my university, the latter, a quite place to contemplate in, and the former, a busy intersection of life and activities, share the same substance of liminality.
在创作这幅作品时，我对心理地理学的概念感到非常着迷，这使我开始思考地点和场所实际上是充满生命的，它们充斥着情感和感觉，是过去发生事件的情感载体，生命能量的流动在这些地方持续存在，这种能量是由曾经到访和经过这些地方的人们传递的。在这一场景中，地铁站和我大学旁的河畔并置，后者是一个适合沉思的安静场所，前者则是一个繁忙的生活和活动交汇点，两者共享着边缘性的本质。
