One of my earliest paintings, was inspired part of my fascination with light and shadows. I am particularly inspired by the interconnectivity and the aspect of necessity involved within the two. Light must exists for the shadow to spawn, and shadow would not exist if not for light. Much like the relationships between people, most of us are dependent on another living being in someway. And that set of relationship can be seen in the way forms I create in this painting, one form consists of many, they are distinct yet dependent on each other, forming a complete whole only when composited together.
我的早期画作之一，灵感来源于我对光与影的迷恋。我特别被其中的相互连通性和必然性所吸引。光的存在是为了产生阴影，如果没有光，阴影也就不存在。这与人与人之间的关系非常相似，我们大多数人在某种程度上都依赖于其他生命。这种关系在我这幅画中所创造的形式中得以体现，一个形态包含了许多部分，它们既独立又相互依赖，只有组合在一起时才能形成一个完整的整体。
